Don Ricchio is an award-winning artist from Racine, Wisconsin. He was featured in the Charles A Wustum Museum of Fine Arts' annual "Watercolor Wisconsin" show in 2002, 2003, and 2004.
Don was commissioned on a national level for the Olympics, and his paintings and drawings can be found in numerous private and public collections, including the Racine Heritage Museum, Jordan Hall, City Hall and Old Engine House #3 Museum.
In 2005, the painting Victorian Splendor (see gallery, above) was in the national juried show, Barns and Farms. The exhibit was sponsored by the Smithsonian and is displayed at the Barn Site Art Studio in Kewaunee, Wisconsin.
Strong drawing skills and rich layers of color and textures give his paintings a realistic and three-dimensional look.
